Dear Polk House...

Dear Polk House,

Life has a funny way of placing us right where we belong. It seems as if I was meant to be among you beautiful ladies. There’s something about our friendship as a group that tells me I have found a rare blessing. We’re all such different people, and yet we all fit so well together.

I know I don’t say it enough and I should but I love y'all. I love you because you have taught me so much about life and you watch me grow everyday. Whether it be about cooking, relationships, classes or life lessons, I know y'all got me. You have taught me strength and courage. You have taught me to never give up when I feel that I may not succeed. You have taught me to hold onto my dreams, to never let them go, and to do what it takes to make those dreams come true. You have taught me how to better my life in so many different ways. For theses things, I appreciate you.

I am lucky to have such an amazing group of people in my life that I know, and hope, will always be a part of my life. My advice is that if you find a group of people that make you as happy as you guys make me, NEVER let them go. You guys are going to be the glue that keeps us together. When you need a late night drive, a friend at the family dinner table, or just need someone to be by your side through the good and the bad. I was lucky enough to have you guys as my chosen family, and I wouldn't change any one of you.

Thank you for supporting me and for never, ever giving up on me. Thank you for providing me happiness. Thank you for being the greatest, most supportive family I know. I will forever be thankful for everything you have ever done for me.
